Community Service

The Temple Israel community is very committed to finding ways to be of service to our community both locally and globally.

• Members run the Dover Friendly Kitchen the first Tuesday of every month.
• Temple Israel is represented in Dover Cooperative Ministries.
• Our High Holy Day food drive stocks the shelves of the Dover Food Pantry each year.
• We plan to coordinate efforts for community assistance each Chanukah and Passover. Past efforts have included a drive to collect hats, scarves, gloves and mittens in December and used shoes for Soles for Souls.
• Members are encouraged to find ways they wish to be helpful and bring in other Temple members to participate. All it takes is one person with an idea of how to help!
