JEWISH SPIRIT
IN
THE
SEACOAST!
Shalom! Welcome to the website of Temple Israel of Dover, New Hampshire.
We are a Reform congregation serving the Seacoast community since 1938. Our congregation provides a warm and supportive environment that nurtures both the mind and the spirit.
Our Rabbi, Sam Seicol, explains that the role of a Synagogue is to create a sacred community, a kahal kadosh. Here at Temple Israel, we welcome all who seek a connection to and through Judaism: Jews, members of Jewish homes, interfaith families, visitors, and seekers of knowledge related to Judaism and the Jewish tradition. We are committed to study, ritual, Shabbat and holiday observance, and music as paths for enriching communal life and personal spiritual growth.
For Shabbat and Holiday service times and education and social events, please check our calendar page.
We would be happy to tell you more about Temple Israel. You are welcome to give us a call at (603) 742-3976 or email us at templeoffice@dovertemple.org.
